Ann is a co-founder of Modern Teacher and co-creator of the Digital Convergence Framework, Modern Teacher’s proprietary methodology that drives our mission to support districts with the roadmap to build capacity for change at scale, transform the student experience, and empower modern teachers.

Dr. Chavez’s work is inspired by our potential to rethink & improve how we serve America’s communities through the collective thinking & action of our nation’s most forward-thinking leaders & educators. Together, we can empower student ownership & agency, build capacities for the modern graduate, and continuously infuse new best practices into teaching & learning.

Sue Holmes
Chief Learning Officer

Sue drives the learning at Modern Teacher in all areas including Network district advancement, leading strategy officers in their roles as district thought partners, and focusing on resource alignment and innovation as the Modern Teacher grows and evolves.

Sue’s work is inspired by the vision of transforming teaching and learning in classrooms nationwide to become places of modern, personalized, competency based learning. With a heart for leaders and teachers undertaking this paramount goal, Sue knows the power of engaging students at a personal level and works to ensure this reality for districts.

Justin Vincent
Chief Technology Officer

Justin leads the Modern Teacher platform/product division from technical & business viewpoints, including user experience, scale, security, utilization, platform features, and content & partner integration.

Justin is inspired by the goal of offering every child a personalized learning pathway. Everyone is different, and with the right tools and processes, we can help promote adaptive learning at scale.

Executive Director of Partnerships & Growth

As Executive Director of Partnerships & Growth, Ellen drives the expansion of the Modern Teacher National Network to achieve our vision of modern learning at scale.

Ellen’s work to support districts in embarking on their journey is inspired by the opportunity we have before us to transform learning by building a culture, community, and shared identity in the learning experiences of students in each school district across the nation.

Rebecca Bibri
Strategy Officer

Rebecca serves as a critical and collaborative thought partner to National Network member districts as they reimagine school for the modern learner — guiding each school system’s work as they connect their visions for modern learning with the school and classroom experience of students and teachers.     

Rebecca is passionate about fostering students’ love of learning and believes that all students should have the opportunity to achieve at the highest level and experience limitless success. Rebecca’s work is driven by the desire to empower school leaders and teachers to provide a world-class educational experience that will result in well-rounded and thoughtful students who are prepared to thrive in a changing post-modern and globalized world.
